The airport shuttle, MTA , hotel, access was very close to each other. Uber option was right in front at of the exit terminals and at the front drive up, in the front of the hotel. We saw the Lion King on Broadway. It was awesome. We loved the New York style pizza around time square area. We loved the tall skyscraper buildings. We did not have as much time as we would like, Other travelers would have to be aware of the scheduling times of the services, which are available. Especially when weather conditions are not so great! The MTA takes you to SHEA, or Yankee Stadiums, mid-Manhattan where your choice of Broadway shows, Museums, Parks, tour the local college campuses, Movies, Churches, Boat rides, Ellis Island tour, Trade Center, Wall street, financial district, clothing, shoe, variety stores , Jewelry, car and boat dealers, arts and crafts shops, Empire State bldg, Chrysler bldg, game show and talk show studios. Nothing was great staying at these hotel it was a worst decision that I took to book these hotel I should have paid little more and stayed in a better hotel I’m really not sure why people are even looking into these hotel. Just to sum up I arrived an hour early for check in the staff was so rude that she was saying 50dollors if you wanna check-in now I understand I arrived early but doesn’t Mean you speak rudely I was told just wait at the reception side where it hardly had seating area and direct sunlight was coming and no AC at all in that area coming with family and having these kind of behavior really spoiled to the mood and during check-in out they have shuttle when I asked when is next the staff rudely said it’s every hour and the next is only at 1000hrs I have requested if anything is possible to drop us she just noded her head and that moment the shuttle driver sardar Ji came I have requested him and he humbly helped me out with all my luggage loaded in shuttle and immediately dropped at the airport Really appreciate the shuttle driver sardarjiGuest review byIrfanuddinUnited States - 10.0
I was scheduled to check in at 3pm but had an early flight.
I was scheduled to check in at 3pm but had an early flight. The staff however made it possible for me to check in at 12pm with no additional cost for which I am very grateful. The hotel felt very old and is not located in the best neighbourhood as there is a lot of rubbish in the streets and homeless old people which is so very sad to see especially in US (NYC is one of the richer city's in the world) but I was told this is normal... Only positive note, the staff were genuinely lovely and helpful throughout my stay. The staff was disrespectful and lazy. They don’t want to do their job as far as house keeping is concerned, they don’t even want to give you towels. As for the building, it is known for prostitution, drugs and god knows what kind of other illegal activities goes on in that place. The staff plays along with all that goes on in there and they act as if they don’t know what’s going on. The rooms are filthy and the noise level at night is crazy. This hotel is clean and comfortable bed and spacious room. It is quite new and I loved how easy it was to get to the JFK just 4 minutes walk. A short bus ride and you can get to Queens Boulevard for shopping at places like Burlington, Primark, JD shoe store and more, lots of places to eat. We got upgraded and we had an amazing and absolutely breath-taking view from our balcony ! Our room was really spacious and clean (and was kept clean even during our stay). Our bed was comfortable as well. The staff was very polite and helpful. The location is great too - it is situated next to Queensboro Bridge metro station so you can get easily and fast to Manhattan.
