Clean. Comfortable bed. great water pressure in the shower. asked for an extra blanket and it was delivered in a timely fashion with extra coffee(which I didn't ask for but appreciated it.

The staff! From the front desk, to the valet, to the maid service, everyone was friendly and super accommodating. They even welcomed our dog! The hotel was neat, well-appointed and great location. Such an enjoyable weekend.

Unfortunately I had to turn around in the middle of my way to the hotel because I forgot to take my passport in order to cross Canada border the next morning. 3 hours driving back home to get it. So I had no chance to come back to the hotel. But I was delightfully surprised to get my money back. Soooo nice of the hotel staff. Thanks a lot!

    Portsmouth is very Old New England coastal town. Architecture, food, and people all point in the same direction. There's not loads to do, if you want an active vacation look elsewhere but for good food, small history, and coastal charm its perfect.

    Portsmouth has so much to offer its visitors.

    Portsmouth has so much to offer its visitors. During our visit, we spent time exploring the city’s history and checking out some historical attractions. The area is full of museums and landmarks. When it comes to food, Portsmouth has something for every meal and every palate. If you're in the mood for a light or hearty breakfast, a casual lunch, or fine dining for dinner- this is somewhere you have all of these options at your fingertips.

    There are great restaurants in Portsmouth!

    There are great restaurants in Portsmouth! It is a very quaint small city with friendly people. Wonderful history and historic houses. The ocean is very close with beautiful views. Just across a short bridge is Kittery Maine which is also beautiful. There are a lot of cute shops in Portsmouth and outlets and malls in Kittery.

    We were charmed by historic small town with its good mix of shopping and restaurants along pleasant streets. We were only in town for one night and left wishing we could have stayed longer (always a good sign).

    Location was great.

    Location was great. The room had not been totally cleaned, missing pillow cases, trash can not emptied, and NO soap in the dispenser in the shower. Also, they let a dog in the breakfast room during buffet time. The room space was good and the beds were nice. No ramp to the room. We had to haul the suitcases up the steps.

    Strawberry Banke is a must, the staff are dedicated and the multiple houses have so much to appreciate! We loved walking the paved streets, the dining options and bespoke gift stores, historical options are amazing!
