It's a smaller town but the people are fantastic. Everyone is super nice. They have a great gym at their high school. We went to a gymnastics event. For the size of the town, they have quite a few options for food. Nice clean, friendly town, felt safe and welcomed. There is a chalk mine outside of Ord. That's a great little tourist spot. We didn't go this time because of the season. But it's worth the stop, spring and summer time.

We were there for Junk Jaunt, our first time staying overnight on the trail. Ord was a great place to stay, we especially enjoyed a micro-brewery on the square where we sat outside in perfect weather.
