Awesome location. And super relaxed. This is what you want going out for a vacation. Relaxed! Ocean Grove is an amazing spot at the beach in New Jersey. And Bernadette runs the place perfectly. Breakfast is wonderfull. Ten out of ten.

I absolutely loved this place, we've just left & i wish I'd booked longer. It really felt like home, so laid back, comfortable & cosy. Breakfast pastries were tasty. Wouldn't hesitate to book again. Thank you x

    We really enjoy the safety and cleanliness of Ocean Grove, the walkable Main Street with shops and restaurants and the beach and boardwalk. The public restrooms and changing facilities are always clean. We go off season in order to avoid the potential summer crowds. The walkable boardwalk access to Asbury Park and Bradley beach and beyond make for a wonderful location. The Great Auditorium and grounds and tents plus the outdoor pavilion are a wonderful backdrop and provide a peaceful atmosphere to the community. The town and boardwalk are adorned with urns of colorful flowers that are well maintained. Plenty of benches for seating are also available.

    Ocean Grove is a serene step back in time - easy to enjoy.

    Ocean Grove is a serene step back in time - easy to enjoy. That said, be careful where you stay. In my case, the residence hype (Central Ave. House) didn't come close to living up to the exorbitant cost of my stay.

    This beach is one of my favorite Jersey Shore beaches!

    This beach is one of my favorite Jersey Shore beaches! The beach and boardwalk are clean and safe because of the beach tags you must purchase. This is a dry town no alcohol so it is very quiet. There are many nice restaurants to choose from but if you want a party town stay somewhere else.

    Ocean Grove started as an oceanfront Methodist spiritual...

    Ocean Grove started as an oceanfront Methodist spiritual camp meeting town and incredibly, it continues to this day! It must have extremely strict preservation laws because it is a true time capsule of the late 1800's with almost every building in town preserved. This includes the giant wooden auditorium ( where preachers still preach) and the tent village which is made of partly wooden structures with tents attached. Another amazing thing about Ocean Grove is although it is quiet and conservative, if you want a livelier scene you can easily walk to Asbury Park. There you have a multitude of shops and restaurants and you can catch a music show at The Stone Pony (schedule on Instagram). We loved Ocean Grove and will return.

    My daughter and I.

    My daughter and I. Enjoyed our visit very much, we walked a lot of places. I it was very near the Ocean and we could easily park the car a go most anywhere. We meant some wonderful people an very caring staff..The cottage had every thing we needed and more. The food was amazing.

    Beautiful town, the splendor of the Victorian houses alone is worth the visit, the beaches, the Boardwalk, the cleanliness of the streets, the beautiful surrounding towns and beaches make every visit feel like the first.
