It's not made for pleasure, it's practically just for a place to stay for a quick shower and rest so you can drive the next day. There are some good restaurants and shopping and a casino close by.

The hotel room was fine, The personnel I had no issues with.

The hotel room was fine, The personnel I had no issues with. Very pleasant. Some you can tell it's just their personality but it doesn't affect you, but when your staying they should have had signs to let housekeeping know you're either sleeping, so do not disturb sign or you're busy. Meaning I was trying to be intimate with my partner and we had to say it twice when they knocked on the door to do housekeeping that we're not interested which ruined the moment so they need a sign that says no housekeeping. Typically ask when you go in if they want housekeeping while they're staying or wait until they're gone. If you're paying for a private king size room or anything specialty kind of rooms. At least have some coffee so I can wake up and drink And they need to figure out the roads because trying to get into the hotel is a pain and trying to guess and make sure that no car is going down the driveway so you can go up. The driveway is a pain and don't allow people that have trucks and trailers to park closest to the entrance of motel 6. Where it's hard to see if anybody is coming in and out. They should have a designated spot away from where the entrance of the hotel is And for it being summer, the pool would have been nice to have because of how hot it was and it wasn't even working. So if you're going to boast that you have a pool make sure it actually works on hot days so people can enjoy it. But in the end for the most part I give it a good rating. Some things I know they can't control like parking lot and people parking. The one thing that really got me was not having any signs and ruined my intimate moment. If that didn't happen and we had the signs I would have gave better reviews. So next time please ask if we even want housekeeping or make sure that there's signs so we can put out so they're not allowed in our room because that upset me.

Simple, clean, which is what is most important to me.

Simple, clean, which is what is most important to me. The floor to my room was vinyl plank, which I much prefer to carpet (I think it's cleaner). I only stayed for the night on my way elsewhere, but it was well located for me. There's a Tudor's Biscuit World nearby, and I love eating there everytime I pass through West VA.
