Great breakfast the people could not be more accommodating. The facility and views were magical. The most peaceful place , hummingbirds, deer and antelope everywhere. If you want a peaceful get away , this is the place. We want to experience it in the fall and winter too.

We loved Casa del Gavilan in Cimarron, NM.

We loved Casa del Gavilan in Cimarron, NM. It is an historic home built in 1910 that has been converted to a Bed & Breakfast. It was a beautiful facility nestled in the Sangre de Christo Mountains. We felt so lucky to have found this magical place! Polly, the Manager, was great! She attended to your every need and fixed an amazing breakfast for us. Our only regret is that we had only booked one night there! We will return!

The day that we arrived, Cimarron was shutting down early.

The day that we arrived, Cimarron was shutting down early. The only restaurant that was open was closing early that night. I think they closed at 7:00 PM that night. The rest of the town had already closed up for the night and rolled up their sidewalks for the night.
