Camp Verde is trying to improve the town proper but is hard to compete with Jerome and Cottonwood. Not much of a bargain and more of a drive. The historic fort is not worth the time. The river is better viewed nearer Cottonwood.Guest review byDonaldUnited States - 10.0

Reservation was made for two.
Reservation was made for two. When we checked in, only one key was made available. We requested one for each of us. They WOULD NOT release a second key. Their response to our request was they were running short on keys! We returned a few hours later (after dinner and gambling), and tried again at the desk with another person and again, said they were too short on keys to request a second key. We checked in for my husband's birthday and were very frustrated. On a good note, rooms were very clean; beds comfortable and quiet!Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Stayed at Cliff Castle Casino for a quick getaway weekend. Everyone and everything was amazing!! Had lunch at the buffet, food choices and desserts were great Had dinner at Storytellers, a true dining experience!!! From check-in to leaving, wonderful staff, especially the valet service. A great "jumping off" point.
A great "jumping off" point. The location offers more reasonable hotel rates. You can enjoy the Camp Verde area for nature time, the historial town of Jerome with awesome views and great food (recommend Bobby D's BBQ), Sedona for shopping, views and jeep tours and many other local attractions.Guest review byCandaceUnited States - 10.0

Copper Canyon Inn was a great place to stay. Great staff and clean remodeled rooms. Indoor pool and hot tub(but was closed due to the renovations) The location is amazing, Denny's, taco bell, mcd's, Burger king, and dairy queen are all within walking distance.
