Where Everybody Knows Your Name

One of the oldest and most historic US cities, Boston is known as ‘America’s Walking City’. In its heart, next to 18th-century Faneuil Hall, is Quince Market - a food haven. The nearby seaport offers whalewatching trips and restaurants serving a Boston speciality: lobster with melted butter.

The streets south of the peaceful Charles River in Back Bay are lined with Victorian brownstone houses. At the downtown end of one – Beacon Street – is the Cheers bar, modelled on the 80s sitcom. Opposite is Boston Common, a large park with a bronze sculpture celebrating the book ‘Make Way for Ducklings’. The golden dome of the House of Representatives is by the other end.

The oldest part is Charlestown and streets around the Bunker Hill obelisk still feature old-style gas lamps, though now they are electric. Over in Cambridge, Harvard is the USA’s oldest and most prestigious university. The campus is open to the public, as is Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), whose central point is an emblematic, Pantheon-like building.

Sport in Boston is also a big thing, with the Celtics and Red Sox among the city’s big name teams.

The largest New England city, Boston has the perfect size for walking and cycling. Logan International Airport is connected by public transport to Boston hotels, motels, apartments and B&Bs.

    Molt bona ubicació. Estava molt net. El senyor de la recepció que va començar el seu torn al vespre del dia 11 de Juny va ser molt amable perquè ens va assessorar que podíem fer servir una de les sales de reunions que tenen a la planta 1 per a fer una important vídeo-conferència que teníem a les 4am hora de Boston.

    Allotjament comfortable, net, acollidor, ben ubicat al cor de Boston. Alguns membres del staff no són prou empàtics. Però a nivell general molt i molt bé. L'habitació tenia vistes i ens sentíem molt a gust. De fet, si tornèssim a Boston, és una molt bona opció.

    L'esmorzar és excel·lent, la sala fitness molt ben equipada, la ubicació de l'hotel és excepcional, proporcionen aigua filtrada en ampolla a cada planta i beguda calenta al hall. El personal és molt agradable i atent.

    El personal del hotel es molt amable, destacar les cambreres del buffet d’esmorzar. Decoració rockera brutal i LP’s a disposicio amb un plat a l’habitació. Destacar la pisicina exterior d’aigua calenta.
