Bedford is a quiet town but close to a variety of restaurants and family entertainment. My son, my nephews, and I visited Urban Air and we visited the Bluespring caverns while we were in Bedford. We also ate at the Asian Pearl Buffet. All three places exceeded all of our expectations. Urban Air is a huge trampoline park with areas for all ages and a ton of choices for family fun. They have everything from obstacle courses with a ball pit to a climbing wall to an ariel adventure. If you have active kids, this is the place to go and they offer an all-day all-inclusive pass that is reasonably priced. Parents should be warned though that they do not offer staffing for supervision so you will need to keep an eye on your own kids. The Asian Pearl Buffet was fantastic! A huge selection of both Asian and American food choices, a very fair price, and really good quality food with a tranquil atmosphere and comfortable seating. Two thumbs way up!! The BlueSpring Caverns offer a selection of outdoor trails, an underground guided boat tour, and a mining activity. Their prices are very reasonable, and the staff are fantastic! I do want to point out though that the underground boating adventure does require walking down a huge incline to get into the cave entrance and then walking back up the incline afterwards. There is no handicapped accessible option unfortunately so if you have difficulty walking on steep inclines then this adventure is probably not a good fit for you. Also, you will want to make sure to call ahead because if the water is too high in the caves they cannot run the tours.

Basic hotel. Don’t stay if expecting anything special.

Basic hotel. Don’t stay if expecting anything special. The breakfast was nonexistent. I wouldn’t even consider it a continental breakfast: Cereal, no milk. Biscuits and gravy. Yogurt. Coffee and juice. Bathroom needs updating. Clean enough but had a distinct odor. It was okay for a one night stay.

The room was as pictured in photos The staff were friendly Breakfast offered from 6-9 a.m. (I slept thru breakfast) There is an outdoor pool in grassy area (though already closed for October) would be great in Summer Close to attractions and dining

Breakfast was good. I misjudged how far away Bedford was from our desired trip to Des Plaines. It was really too far off our preferred route
