The homestay from Amadeus is a magical place. You feel very welcome and it is the perfect place to arrive or unwind. We loved it here. The Cook Ignaz deserves another 5 stars. His cuisine is fantastic, authentic and fresh. If you want to take a very special piece of Africa with you, you should definitely book here. We will come back!

Very nice place about 20 minutes from the city Center. Is is located in a local village very recommended if you want to experience the true Tanzania lifestyle. The owner is extremely kind and welcoming all your requests. Just bear in mind it is not in the Center but can be reached just by auto or taxi which can of course be provided by the owner. I really felt at home, all personnel were really kind.

Hello Folks , Incredible stay at this lovely retreat Feb 4 to Feb 6th 2025 !! Even though this retreat was highly rated it exceeded my expectations in regards to the existing review ratings !! It has beautiful accommodations with a Spa like feel, high quality rooms and bedding, with exceptional design. The property is absolutely stunning with beautiful landscape vegetation and flowers everywhere, outdoor pool with swim up cocktail bar, fire pit area, nicely appointed lounging areas, and comfortable outdoor dining areas. The Breakfast and food is delicious and the whole retreat is sparkling clean ! The quality of service is well above average from this retreat, with outstanding Management ( Manny and staff ) they were attentive, polite, and super helpful in all aspects of their service, these folks go above and beyond to serve you ! My wife and I are fairly well travelled ..Canada, US, New Zealand, Australia, South America, Mexico, Cuba, Dominican, Ukraine, Thailand, Dubai, Africa .. I stayed here for the second time after coming back from safari. Again it was a great stay. Comfortable, nice people and the food in the restaurant is really amazing. I had lunch and dinner and it was excellent.

We stayed here one night before hiking Mount Kilimanjaro and two nights when we finished the hike. We would definitely recommend at least a two night rest after the hike! We were a bit ill from the hike so it was an excellent place to rest and recover, the staff would check in on how we were and there is a pharmacy a short walk down the lane too (if required). We really liked how it was quiet, set in a garden (monkeys, birds and tortoises are often around to watch) and a little away from the hustle and bustle of the centre of Moshi- it was a lovely small lodge great for avoiding large big built up hotels. The pool area was kept really clean and tidy with plenty of loungers for all guests. There were plenty of other seating options around too, including private table and chairs by your room. The beds in the room were super comfortable with mosquito nets and a fan that kept you at a good temperature. It was nice to have the communal areas open air with traditional roofed ‘gazebos’. All of the staff were very welcoming and kind. There was an area you can securely leave your main/large bags if needed and there is a laundry service. The food was tasty, with vegetarian options, we tried to burgers, pizzas and evening meals (this was a small menu that they put on a chalk board for you to choose from in advance). The evening meal food is super tasty! The breakfast was just alright, as it was a buffet-style which isn’t how we would prefer it.
