    Go along where the restaurants and people are as it's the nicest there, or a tiny bit farther south along the shore. Closer to the airport and national park, the beach is very dirty and full of rubbish, although you can watch the airplanes take off. I loved eating at The Beach Restaurant Nai Yang. Right on the beach and reasonable prices.

    A very pleasant stay there without the noise and holiday trend that patong beach has. if you want a nice getaway this is the place to be I will go back again one day the airport is only 6 minutes by Bolt taxi and cost 120bht there are some nice eating places there to.

    From our experience its a great place to relax before heading home and handy that it is close to the airport. Although the beach wasn't as nice as when were had previously been in Feb a few years ago, I think this is the main thing we like about it plus all the restaurants on the beach.

    It is one of the very few places on the island that isn't over developed, however this won't last long. Not a place for people seeking late night entertainment, very much a family location as evidenced by the number of Vlad's army visitors. An excellent and extensive west facing beach. So if looking for a low impact and quiet holiday this is a very convenient place to come. It's barely 10 minutes from the airport and that can be a major benefit on an island with a crowded and under-developed road system.

    Noisy and crowded in peak season When tide was out has to walk a long way to get to deeper water for swimming. Sometimes struggled to find a sun bed Fantastic restaurants along the strip, spoilt for choice Lovely sunsets

    We stayed here just before leaving Thailand. It is great because it is not as busy as the other beaches in Thailand but it still has some restaurants and markets. Also a bit further at the beach near the airport you can see the airplanes flying over you when they land!

    The staff was amazing. We stayed in a poolside villa with a pool bar, and it was very quiet and relaxing. The hotel was located next to one of the best beaches in Phuket, with perfect bars, restaurants, and beach service. The food at the hotel was excellent and very affordable. There were no hidden charges, and the 4-star service was very reasonably priced. We didn't have to worry about running up a massive bill as everything was priced very affordably. We stayed for 5 weeks which slimly melted away with every sunset.

    Although the hotel was a 25 minute walk away from the free entry part of Nai Yang beach, it was in a quiet and peaceful area and the pool area was nice to relax in. The room was a good size and it was good value for money for Phuket.
