    Must visit island in thailand. Must visit for atleast 4 days, serene islands, very less population, all essential and necessary things are available. Great experience. Laem Had beach during low tide, loh chak for activities, Loh pared for great sunset at the pier. Great food and seaside culinaries available at every doorstep.

    The island is great, just do not stay at the Santiva hotel...

    The island is great, just do not stay at the Santiva hotel it is horrible. It looks great… but the staff is a disgrace to thai culture and thai people. The people on the island are super nice and sympathic, just great as long as you have nothing to do with Santiva resort

    This is a very rural, very quiet island.

    This is a very rural, very quiet island. There are no big developments, no nightlife, and not a lot to do except relax. We really only left our resort to go on day trips via boat (island hopping, snorkeling, etc). It's beautiful, but rough around the edges and about as different from The White Lotus as you can get. Also, it's 99% Muslim, so no pork and no alcohol (except in restaurants) on the island.

    Great location and stay. Out of the world experience. The room was very spacious and excellent. Service was top-notch. Loved the beach and the restaurants. Spa was great as well. Overall worth the money.

    Great island to be on.

    Great island to be on. Very calm atmosphere, nice beaches, much better than Phi Phi. If you want to go swimming, go to Lo Chak Beach (our favourite), or Loh Pared Beach. There are also some great restaurants.

    THE BEST PLACE WE HAVE STAYED IN THAILAND!!

    THE BEST PLACE WE HAVE STAYED IN THAILAND!! The owner and his family were so friendly and kind and could not help us enough. We hired a motorbike which was extremely well looked after and we were given some fuel too. There were laundry facilities for a small fee and complimentary water and coffee. The Pod we stayed in was immaculate and so wel built by the owner himself. Not only would I recommend the modern in but the whole island itself it was breathtakingly stunning along with the pods.

    As others have said the hotel plot is long and thin, which only allows 1 bungalow to face the sea. The grounds are kept immaculate as was our room, however ask for towel / bedding changes if needed. There are local restaurants the best we found was “Chill Chill” a 15 minute walk – out to the end of the road turn left, down the hill and up the other side, its on the left. As other reviews have said you need a scooter, the hotel rent us a nice one for 5 days @ 250 baht per day.

    Beautiful Thai-style hotel, with Thai design in every detail. Fantastic location on a hill, shuttle service within the hotel at any time, spacious rooms, very good breakfast with quick and friendly staff accompanied by traditional Thai musicians, free morning neck massage before breakfast and a spectacular view over the islands. One of the best spots on the island which you can easily explore by scooter in one day.

    What can I say - just a dreamy place! Everything is just beautiful, amazing garden, pools, great restaurants, friendly people… Having a shower under the stars is just a dream come true :) This hotel is the best escape from tourists and stress, just wow! If you are a beach a lover, you will have to rent a scooter and go outside of the resort.

    A small boutique hotel, sandwiched between two large resorts. The service staff is very kind, and especially the one named Ok. Many thanks for the sincere care of the guests. Breakfast is not buffet style, but good enough and plentiful. The rooms are large, spacious and tidy.
