Not the nicest part of island.
Not the nicest part of island. Geared towards full moon party, laughing gas and fire shows. Quiet when not full moon in a nice way but the town is run down. Haad Rin beach is beautiful though. Saw quite a few families which was nice. Rented our bike from here and explored the island for a few days. I was expecting Haad Rin to be more crowded, dirty, and over touristy. But it wasn't! Yes, there are plenty of shops and bars and the streets are a little lively, but the beach itself is spacious, clean, and so relaxing. In my opinion, Had Rin is not suitable for families at all, but only for young people who like to lie on the beach most of the day and wait for the full moon parties. Kim at the reception is a superb help and she is always in her best mood. the rooms were extremely basic with simplistic bathrooms, yet with good aircon. if it was not for the party, I would have easily stayed in a five star quality hotel with the money I paid for yogurt home.Guest review byDamlaTurkey

That pool by the beach with the swing during sunset, absolutely magical. The room was very comfortable and clean as well. It’s a 10-minute walk to Haad Rin Beach from Sunset Beach Villas and we stayed here for the full moon party, but would absolutely recommend this place for any trip to Koh Phanang.
