    We came to get away form Patong Town for the final days of our trip, so the location was not a problem for us as we were also close to the airport. We recommend a visit to Baan Ar-Joor - the food is lovely and the history is interesting.

    Mai Khao Beach is amazing, one of the best on the island but...

    Mai Khao Beach is amazing, one of the best on the island but there is little in the vicinity to do. It's a long way from the main resorts which some may prefer. Its 10 minutes to the airport so perfect for a 1 night stay before flying home but personally I think its not for those wishing to stay a week or more unless you hire a car / moped.

    Loved the location of Mai Khao!

    Loved the location of Mai Khao! The resort pools and beach itself were amazing and not overly crowded. Watching the planes land over the beach was fascinating and made for awesome photos! There were plenty of local eateries outside of the resort and plenty of places for massages, facials, pedicures etc... The stalls down at the beach had fabulous food and drinks for $5 AUD and under and the variety was excellent! And no upset bellies!! It was easy to hail a tuk tuk when it got too hot to walk further distances as they were everywhere. One of our friends hadn't been to Thailand before so we took a day trip into Patong which took an hour and a half. We thought she should see Bangla Rd at least once! Was glad to get back to the peace and tranquility of Mai Khao though!!

    This place was one I will keep coming back to.

    This place was one I will keep coming back to. The room exceeded my expectations. I was happy to see there was a couch with an extra sitting room outside the main bedroom area. This was very helpful. The food in the restaurant has a good variety of options and it was the best curry I had the whole vacation. The hosts were so kind and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to return.

    Mai Khao beach is relatively cleaner compared to the other more popular beaches in Phuket. It's also less congested and therefore is more suitable for walks and watching sunsets. We had a Thai dinner at Sunset Restaurant along Mai Kao beach and I would say it was one of the best meals we had while in Phuket. We had sea food tom yum, fried calamari, pandan chicken and fried vegetables. The price came up to less than 1000 baht for the 3 of us inclusive of drinks. Really value for money!

    The swimming pool at the resort was amazing.

    The swimming pool at the resort was amazing. The biggest I've ever been in and not crowded at all. The beach had quite dumpy waves that were unsafe for swimming with the 4&6 years old kids we had. The pool was much safer

    The cocktails, breakfast, pool, beach, bed, views, the landing aeroplanes above our heads, the peace and quiet, the bathroom facilities. Above all that, the staff is just the best. Oh, and did I mention the cocktails? But wait, the food! First rate. We had bruschetta, chicken satay (spicy sauce) and a mushroom and ham pizza while lazing by the pool. Great start to our holiday in Phuket. Furthermore, the late check out! 12pm for all. It's such a convenience.

    Beautiful new property , the room was incredible and very spacious and made us of the lovely bath outside. Loved the two pools and although it was a large resort it never felt very busy. The staff were attentive but never annoying. Would return if we came back to Phuket as it’s a much quieter part of the island. We also hired a scooter from the hotel which was very easy to do. There are a few authentic restaurants in the area too.

    Breakfast was excellent. The grounds are beautiful - expansive and filled with beautiful trees and of course the palm tree. The Andaman sea and the long stretch of beach with its causarina trees that run along its shores is also what draws me to this part of Phuket. All personnel were friendly and accommodating of any request. I dined in each night and the food was excellent - the steamed salmon and mashed potato - superb.

    We had a great short Honeymoon here at the hotel and even got upgraded to the Pool Villa which was amazing. We were warmly welcomed and they even set up the room with petals and a romantic arrangement. The staff and overall resort exceeded our expectations and would definitely love to come back again! Highly recommend staying here! Great facilities as well!
