We were very well received at Casa major. The pool area was perfect for relaxing, offering sunbeds a lot of shady places. The house has a very nice antigue charme and we felt very comfortable. The bedroom was cosy with a good quality mattress. Breakfast was also perfect with a lot of fresh products. Very recommendable place

Quinta do Silval is located beautifully within the vineyards of the Douro valley with amazing views. Beatrize was super friendly and forthcoming and gave us a great tour of the property including a delicious port wine tasting, which we would recommend to everyone!

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. Our room was lovely, and the staff were incredibly helpful. They assisted us with booking wine tours and even helped resolve an issue with our rental car since we don't speak Portuguese. Both the breakfast and dinner were delicious. While the location is a bit removed from the hustle and bustle of city nightlife, it's the perfect place to relax by the pool, enjoy a drink, and soak up the sun.
