    Lots to see and do.

Lots to see and do. Great shops, food markets, history, restaurants, churches, the river, cable cars, the Port! Easy to explore on foot, although some hilly areas. We had spent 2 nights in Vigo, northern Spain, then 2 nights in Porto...not enough time in Porto! Will definitely return, as so much to do!

Porto was lovely to visit, lots of little shops for gifts.

Porto was lovely to visit, lots of little shops for gifts. There are so many restaurants to chose from and the fish dishes are delicious. We enjoyed the boat ride through the 6 bridges. There is a tram ride to enjoy. Check out Imperial Mcdonald's and the train station for the tiles. The Crystal Palace park is worth a visit, with it's peacocks, ducks and chickens, a lovely place for a picnic. Lots of museums, and not forgetting Porto wine tours. The beaches were a bus ride away for a fixed price of 2.50, the ones we went to were a little rocky and full of character. You could be more adventurous and hire electric bikes for the day, you'll get to the beaches in no time.

This is our second time in Porto and we could have spent more time there. It is a city that takes time to explore, especially if you want to go beyond the traditional tourist sites. Highlights of our trip were visiting the Bolhao Market, Stock Exchange, and port tasting in Gaia.

Porto is beautiful, but currently in the city, there is so much construction and crowds it really dampened my visit. I loved the Duoro Valley and River though. That was the highlight! I won't go back to Porto until all this construction (renovating) is done. The crowds were like nothing I've seen before on the main street.

Porto is so walkable, The river is the heart of it but history around every corner. The train station - Sao Bento - combines being a tourist destination in itself with being an efficient way to get to so many places on day trips. The markets are full of little gifts and other beautiful things to bring home. Spoilt for choice in restaurants but be careful in selection. One of the few places where you feel you;ve got to go back to.

Close proximity and walking distance to everything I wanted to see in Porto. Loved the supermarket right across the road. So was able to buy and cook my own breakfasts. The loft apartment was exactly what I hoped for. It had everything I needed and was safe and a bit of luxury after travelling and staying in various hotels around Portugal. Better value for money than Lisbon.

Excellent staff gave us a very warm welcome and a ton of advice when we arrived. Including eating at the restaurant a few doors from the hotel. The restaurant was the best we experienced in Portugal. We had a suite at the back which was quiet and comfortable

The room was very big compared to other hotels we had in Portugal! We loved the little terrace we had (though there was sometimes pigeon poo). Bed was comfortable. Staff very helpful and loved that the reception was 24/7. Can recommend!

The location is kinda central but because of that it’s very noisy all day and night long. With metro and taxi prices in Portugal I would rather book smth more comfortable a little outside of city center.
