Krakow is a compact city with gems in every street of the old town. I have developed a new taste for Polish food. I was impressed to see how much investment the city must have received in recent years. Everything is so fresh.

Too many people - Like the ants in their nest. Dirty.

Too many people - Like the ants in their nest. Dirty. No parking spots only on the sidewalks with no space to spit between the cars. And charges for it ????? You must be well prepared with your money. Even to go to Zabka to buy something to drink and snack --- you have to pay. So for a water worth 1.99 zl you end to pay 11 zl with the parking spot. The restaurants are sneaky and charging you some services fee...Man you are going there to buy...to pay them fro what you eat and drink . You are not allowed to go to their kitchen so they hired someone to throw you the plate on the table ...You are not a business co-owner and you have to pay theirs employee ? Never. They should be paid by their employer ...a guy who hired them. They are not my employees. I'm paying...overpaying the little Pepsi bottle(300ml) 15zl so the business owner (aka their employer) could pay the waitress. Watch for the tricky receipt .

Krakow is like Prague was in the 1990's.

Krakow is like Prague was in the 1990's. Not so crowded, tourist friendly. The walking tour was fabulous with excellent information. We had our best meal of our trip, although costly, at Restauracja Fiorentina. The food and the service was superb. It is a very walkable city, felt totally safe. Several nights through the week, there is a symphony playing at one of the local churches off the main square. All in all, it is a hidden gem to still visit before all the Prague tourists find it.

    Clean accessible city.

Clean accessible city. Twice we ate at restaurants on the square and found them reasonable value. Wawel Royal Castle has odd pricing and make sure you book correctly. An elderly Spanish Man in front of me at the Seasonal Ticket Booth thought he was booking a trip for the following day and on finding his ticket was wrong rather than changing it the ticket booth operator was extremely rude to him and dismissed his request. He spoke no English (the only alternative to Polish) and people tried to interpret for him but without success-very poor customer service Treat yourself to a tea and cake at the Klezmer Hois if you are in the Jewish Quarter for something a little different

This is the perfect hotel if you are attending an event at the ICE Krakow Congress Center. It is located just on the opposite side of the street. Buses and trams can take you to the city centre, and although you might get a room facing a busy street, those windows are very good for reducing the noise. You can barely hear anything from outside. Also, the Vistula River, with a gorgeous Wawel Castle view, is within a 5-minute walk. 24/7 Carrefour Express convenient store located less than 100m away.

I travel to Krakow on the regular basis and I have stayed in a number of hotels, but this hotel is one of my favourite. Great location - right next to the shopping centre, train station, coach station and old town is 5 mins walk away. Rooms are very nice and clean. Large bathroom with both a shower and a bath. Really nice restaurant on the ground floor. The reception staff are very welcoming and helpful. I loved my stays here and I will definitely be back.

The location of the hotel is outstanding - just around the corner from the main square in the Old Town (and Christmas Markets), and only a twenty minute walk from the fabulous Jewish Quarter. Breakfast at the hotel is also fantastic, among the best I've ever seen in a hotel. We were also offered a free upgrade on our room. We will definitely be back next time we go to Krakow.

Best place to stay when in Krakow.. helpful staff, plentiful varied breakfast, comfortable rooms (the comfort room i booked had coffee machine & fridge!), quiet area at night too, great location - 5 min walk to centre of Old Town. Overall everything you'd want from a hotel! (I didn't have dinner in hotel, so can't comment on that.)

Location is great for all of Krakow attractions many are walking distance. 5 minutes walk to the old town main square and it's restaurants. Very near main train station and trams. Hotel is lovely and the staff were all very friendly and happy to help arrange us a taxi to the airport. Rooms are comfortable and very clean.
