The location is excellent. Just behind the house, you can see a beautiful fjord. If you lucky you also can see the Aurora Borealis just at the backyard. The host, Eric Botner is very nice and very helpful. Last time we arrive a bit late, and we request to get another extra house. less than 1 hour, he get the cleaning team arrive and get us that another additional house ready.

Breakfast was great. Varied, delicious food. When I booked the room, I didn't notice that there was a shared bathroom, but it didn't cause any inconvenience because the W.C. and the shower was next door. Very well equipped shared kitchen with dining room and living room if you want to cook your own meals and sit with friends. The hotel may be more for young people, but we didn't feel out of place either.

    Please do not go to Scandinavia Hotel, the manager of the place is simply not human, did not compromise on a small mistake we made in the booking, they do not answer the phones and there was not a single person at the reception, simply a terrible experience.

    I was there with my husband and sons 16 and 18.

    I was there with my husband and sons 16 and 18. There was so much to do, indoor (sauna, tabletennis, badmintonfield) and outdoor (hikes, kanoeing, motorboat, swimming) activities. But if you are over 180cm you need to consider that the only areas in de cabin where you can stand up straight are the kitchen area (including diningtable) and the bathroom. You need to walk around bent over in the livingroom and sleeping attic. Maybe they have different cabins with a higher ceiling, you should check, because we loved the place in spite of this obstacle.

    Very cozy hotel with amazing views all around. Our room was very comfortable and clean, quite large and well-decorated, and offered a great view. The breakfast was delicious, fresh and varied. We would really recommend the restaurant for dinner as well. The food was excellent and there is a nice selection of gin. We also really enjoyed the sauna experience with the beautiful view. The staff were always very helpful and friendly. Wi-fi worked very well.

    Great location, we had a nice evening walk around the area which is beautiful and very quiet. The Sommer hotel itself is pretty big and spread out, with parking available. Very good breakfast and I loved the fact that we had access to a kitchen and got to make our own dinner and could use the fridge. We had a river view from our room which was nice and the black out curtains worked well.

    This house with stunning architecture und beautiful view made our days in Kabelvag very special. It’s a good place for getting around, lots of light, spacious, stylish furnitured. Svolvaer and Henningsvær, beaches and Hikes easily to be reached. The terrace is a nice spot for morning coffee and a glass of wine in midnight sun…. The owners even sent us the jackets we forgot in the closet.

    Hotel with an amazing atmosphere, cozy, clean, with all necessary facilities, an amazing breakfast, good restaurant for dining, great views, not too far from Svolvaer and good sauna zone! Definitely coming back.
