The large appartment with a well-equipped kitchen was located on the ground floor of the house partly underground below the owners' home, with a separate door. The surrounding farmland and scenery was great. There was a lake with beach at a few minutes drive from the house.

The best location to hike on Preikestolen, amazing view to the lake, very good restaurant and nice people! We spent 6 nights there, in the nature. From Preikestolen BaseCamp we went to visit Stavanger, hike Kjeragbolten and visit Haugesund (2h drive), Viking Farm,The National Monument, etc.
