The location of the cabin is amazing, it is inside the park and the hiking trails start directly from there (the famous Besseggen ridge is very close as well). The cabin was very spacious and clean, there is a small table in front with the view of the river. The staff was very helpful in giving us advices for hiking trails and motor roads.

It was amazing. Perfect breakfast an dinner. We coming back in the summer. We have seen Elks at the Camping :) VEry quite Spot.

Cozy cabins, friendly host, everything looks really nice. The restaurant/reception is very unique, had a lovely drink by the fire there. The cabin was roomy and had everything we needed.

Walking distance from Bessegen trail parking lot, picturesque surrounding, quiet location gives the feel of outdoor life,while you are comfortably housed.

A lovely little place to stay with excellent access to some great walks. Significantly better fitted out than we expected.

This hotel feels almost like it’s from a movie or a novel or something else. Takes you almost to a different time, you get such a sense of wonder and adventure just by being there. This amazing feeling of this cozy, historic hotel full of people and incredible hospitality. I was surprised and impressed beyond words. If you’re making a road 51 road trip and looking for a place to stay, this is it. Ignore Beitostølen and come right here Location is amazing, right outside the lake and these beautiful mountains so high up, above the tree line. It’s so isolated and beautiful, feels like another planet. Very short drive to some incredible hikes, or you can do a walk around the lake. Many options. Hotel itself is very historic and is such a beautiful and prominent building, I’ve stayed in a single room and it was small but very cozy and beautifully decorated, there was a sink in the room (bathroom is shared) and even a decently sized table / desk. The room is also heated and the view is magnificent. Parking is free right outside the entrance. All the staff were super friendly, hospitable and friendly. The dinner is available until quite late so you won’t be starving (expensive but worth the experience). Breakfast was good
