Best outside area we had during our whole trip in Mexico. An enormous grass grass field with hammocks, swimming pool (which was actually cleaned, didn't see that before) and terrace. Also the rooms had everything we could ask for.

Lovely sustainable hotel steeped in authentic mayan history. The owners really care about the environment and the best way to make little impact on the world. The Casa Maya was beautiful with comfortable beds. A unique experience, a short walk or taxi walk to the main sight of Izamal. There is a delicious breakfast available to purchase in the morning, and a tour explaining the rationale of the hotel and its history, and workshops with different activities.

The cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at. Facilities are new or renovated. Open swimming pool. Hotel actually looks better in real life than on photos.
