The best place we stayed in Lettonia! Wonderful estate in the countryside, very friendly and welcoming owners. I recommend it without any reservations.

This place was like a movie scene from Alice in the Wonderland, it had a lot of colourful details everywhere. It was nicely equipped with 2 double and 1 single bed, which were nice and comfortable. The place was a paradise for our children, it was like a kindergarten room inside the house, a lot of toys, a lot of things to do. There were also activities outside.

The place is located far away from any city or street so it‘s very calm and quiet. The Sauna in the hut is also great and it‘s beautiful to have a pond to cool off afterwards. The interior and the place around is very pretty decorated with a lot of little details.

Most certainly location, it was right in the centre which made it easy and convenient for us. Staff were very friendly. We left personal possessions behind after checkout and were contacted by the property advising us, which in my opinion shows the transparency. On the booking.com it stated that bedding and towels are at extra fee, I can confirm that it must be an error because these are included in the price.

Honestly, if we could give it 20 out of 10, we would! As for the one negative review we came across—it couldn’t be further from our experience and honestly came off as more laughable than legitimate. The customer service: we arrived very late, the owner called and left us the room details. It the room there’s a small fridge freezer , towels and even a hair dryer- surprising! But pleasant. Complimentary boat or catamaran ride on the lake. Children’s playground Electric kettle and mugs in the hall.

Nice clean rooms, lot of space, fresh wooden furniture. Well equipped kitchen. Possibly to sit outside in the nature and take there your meals. Very friendly host :) WI-FI connection was good. I will definitely stay here in the future.

This 100 year old house is so neatly renovated our jaws dropped. Every little detail is excellent, starting from fantastic light system, vinyl record player 🤍🤌🏻, comfy beds, smart kitchen cabinets, ending with such little details like baby wipes, baby shampoo (because we said we are coming with a little child). There is everything you need -a lot of kitchen utensils, 2 size towels, slippers, even children’s books for bedtime stories!! I could go on for an hour. And OUTDOORS - took our breath away. Sooo well-kept, clean and absolutely beautiful. This place is a Latvian heaven. I was SO sad we had to leave. I would really really love to go back there one day. It is so nice our friends started to look for a property with old house to renovate - they were SO inspired. If you are questioning it - don’t, just go and enjoy that absolute bliss in “Viļņi”. Also - Sabile and Kandava are very close, so there are a lot of things to do around there (and a lot of vine and cider to drink!) 😏 Cheers!
