We loved the out-of-the'way location. It was so peaceful, while the colonial bungalow was elegant, comfortable and spotless. Our host Petra was attentive and extremely helpful. She went out of her way to ensure we were happy and had everything we needed. Rani, the on-site housekeeper was delightful and ensured our day-to'day needs and comfort were taken care of... and her cooking was an exceptional introduction to Sri Lankan food. The whole experience was nothing short of perfect! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Our room was very comfortable and spacious, including a stunning outdoor bathtub surrounded by plants. The breakfast was a full-blown brunch where we could decide between different options and the coffee was excellent as well. A special thank you to all the staff that took care of our wellbeing during our stay, everyone was very helpful and friendly, which made us feel immediately at home.

I had a wonderful stay at Kandy Muduna Walawwa Resort with my family; it's truly a gem! The staff, especially Sathya, were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The staff is super nice and always there to help you. Room is super comfortable and well equipped. It's the first time in 6 months travelling Asia I get a real european shower with hot water. The mountain view from the hotel is just stunning. Price is super cheap compared to the quality of hotel. Super peaceful place.

This is an absolutely fantastic hotel with amazing staff, surroundings and amenities. Being far from the city hustle and bustle and located almost on top of a mountain, it offers an incrediblly beautiful view of foggy mountains from the long balcony or swimming pool. The staff is very kind, friendly and helpful. They will do their best to make your stay comfortable. A huge thank you to everybody and especially to the girls in the reception, the waiter with nice English pronunciation and the Cheif who made amazing dishes for us. Would definitely come back again when in Kandy or nearby.

    Best place for hiking and trekking.

    Best place for hiking and trekking. Walk through paddy fields, watch many varieties of birds, wild life, many varieties of trees and plants, meet villagers traditional handicraftmen , climbing the mountains, walk through gravel roads with large old trees both sides which makes you feel walking in a forest. Walking to the Lankathileke Temple on a rock, Embekke temple with traditional wood carvings, and Gadoladeniya Temple . Ambuluwawa temple was amazing.
