nice place, with really comfy bed and pillows. also they have heating (warm floor) so even in January the room was pretty warm (sometimes even hot, but you can open window or turn on conditioning) good neighbourhood. also they have super classy rooftop (separate like for twinings tea bags)

Me and my wife had a great stay at L'escape Hotel. The room was spacious and very comfortable, with a particularly impressive bathroom that was both modern and clean. The location is extremely convenient, right next to a subway station, which made getting around the city easy. The hotel also features a nice bar on the top floor, offering a good selection of drinks in a relaxing setting. Overall, L'escape Hotel provided a comfortable and convenient base for exploring Seoul. Highly recommend for travelers seeking a hassle-free experience.

Fabulous location just the best. Right in the middle of Myendong but the hotel was so quiet. The staff were exceptional. The bed was super comfortable. Loved the free minibar and pod coffee machine. The breakfasts were super delicious. Loved our stay. It was our haven after a busy day exploring Seoul. Definitely return.

Hotel First Stay was the best hotel I have ever stayed in in Korea. The staff were so friendly and answered all of our questions and ensured we had the best stay possible. Each member of staff was so kind and their English is fantastic! The rooms were even better than the photos and extremely clean. The bathrooms are spotless and the showers have great water pressure. The beds were extremely comfortable and the perfect comfort after a day of walking around Seoul. My friend and I stayed two nights and were amazed by the staff, rooms, and location!! We enjoyed this place so much and I am trying to book it again for next week!

    This place is amazing, it was my 1st long haul flight but the place, culture and historical/tourist attractions made up for the 17 hr flight. Shopping is amazing..... bring a big suitcase and less clothes!!. Next time ill just bring more light weight trousers and 2 pairs of comfortable trainers or sandles and wash on the go. Everyone should come and experience Seoul at least once. This place was very safe for my daughter and I but Id be happy to travel solo next time. 🥰😊

    Seoul has dozens of neighborhoods that are absolutely worth...

    Seoul has dozens of neighborhoods that are absolutely worth visiting, and I truly wish I could have stayed longer. Next time, I plan to focus more on exploring the Natural Parks and hidden treasures around the city. Staying in such a vibrant area made it impossible not to feel like a real part of the city, and the energy of the surroundings was unforgettable.

    The street culture is lively and unique.

    The street culture is lively and unique. From food stalls offering tasty bites like tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) and hotteok (sweet pancakes) to late-night cafes and 24-hour shops, there’s always something happening. The scenic view from Seoul Tower is increditable. However, Seoul can get very crowded, especially in popular districts like Myeongdong.

    I stayed at Wecostay Myeongdong for 5D4N and it truly felt...

    I stayed at Wecostay Myeongdong for 5D4N and it truly felt like a home away from home. The unit was clean, spacious, and fully equipped with all the appliances we needed, making the stay very comfortable. The check-in and check-out instructions were clear, user-friendly, and easy to follow. The location is excellent — Chungmuro Station and Euljiro 3 Station are both within walking distance, and there are convenience stores like CU and 7-11 just around the corner. The lobby is connected to Lucky Seoul Café, where I really enjoyed the dumpling soup. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend Wecostay Myeongdong to anyone visiting Seoul.

    Seoul is a city that crept up on me.

    Seoul is a city that crept up on me. While I had researched some 'things to do', I had no real idea what to expect. With my walking shoes on, I wandered, and the city drew me in. I loved the vast differences between the old and new, the daily street marches, always with singing or marching bands, on political, religious and financial issues, the greenery and the food.

    Bunk Guesthouse is really the place to live in Hongdae. Even on my 5 weeks trip in South Korea I can say that Bunk was by far one of the best Guesthouse I could stay in. The owner Brian makes you feel very welcome and I feel very sorry that I left without saying goodbye to him because I had to leave quite early :(. Nevertheless, this is going to be the place I will stay again when coming back next year!

    As most people wrote, the facility is a bit old but is under good maintenance and cleaning. The staff nicely helped us call a taxi to the airport, costing 55000 won, which is much more cheaper than calling by K.ride (a taxi app for foreigners in Korea) (which asked for 80000 won). (K.ride app is not recommended!!) To access the hotel from the subway station, you have to climb a very long slope…

    Great location: the place never sleeps, and at all times there is something to do. Very popular with students. The staff is very polite, they greet you every time they see you and they’re trying their best to help you with anything. The hotel used to be amazing and now it seems to be poorly maintained which is common in South Korea.

    The location is amazing, right next door to the Lotte department store and across from Myeongdong markets. The room had a nice view and was very comfortable. Staff were lovely and accommodating. Beautiful hotel which made for a great experience in Seoul. We stayed in several hotels in South Korea and this one was by far the best.
