East Guest House is more than just a place to lay your head - it’s a generous, welcoming home. From the moment you arrive, you’re scooped up and embraced like a long-lost family member. Rooted in sustainability and deep respect for the land, everything you eat here is grown or raised on the property. The butter, cream, and ayran come from the family’s cows. The meat is from sheep that roam freely in the mountains from April to September - so you can eat with the comforting knowledge that the animals have lived happy, natural lives. Gulzat will feed you exceptionally well; her cooking is on a whole new level of delicious. In summer, she might take you into the mountains to forage for herbs to make tea, or teach you how to make kurut by hand. You can ride horses with the young (and very cool) boys of the household. Or, if you’re more into culture and craft, meet one of the village’s Manas tellers, the keepers of the Kyrgyz epic, who recite the tale in a trance-like state. You can also visit local craftswomen who create stunning embroidery and patchwork quilting. I was lucky enough to cook often with Gulzat…fresh ayran from cows we milked together, outdoor plov, pirozhki, katama, samsa… every moment in the kitchen was a joy. The village of Tigermenti is breathtaking. It is surrounded by snow-capped mountains draped in what looks like green velvet. If you’re feeling brave, take a dip in a mountain stream; or, if you’re more like me, just dip your toes in! A magical place. I didn’t want to leave - and I absolutely can’t wait to return.

They were the best hosts I’ve ever met, honestly, my standards are pretty high and they were amazing.. they helped us with anything and everything we needed. From booking taxi, horse riding, extra lunch and dinner, and in the end they actually drove us for 4 hours because the taxi was way too expensive (expecting only money for taxi)

The host is very nice and helps with everything you need, the house is clean and tidy, there are nice places to sit, good value for the price.

Kemin Guest house is wonderfully located in green hilly sourroundings. It is the perfect place to unwind after a busy travel through Kyrgisistan. The Guest house is just 20 km of the main highway towards/from Bishkek. The staff spoke english, they were super profesionel, relaxed and helpful. The food there is great and a definete upgrade from the rest of Kyrgisistan. We really enjoyed the stay.

A cozy and nice place for a short stay, friendly hosts, they treated us as if we were in our house, very generous, food was authentic, organic and delicious. The nature around the guest house is fantastic. The yurt tent is nice.

Absolutely loved my stay here! The host was amazing and so helpful. The rooms were perfect and the property is well maintained with so many nice flowers. Communal bathrooms and showers were clean. The food was incredible; they feed you very well so you will be very full every time! The vegetarian options are amazing. The optional lunch and dinner is so worth it for the price (800som) as the food is so good and there’s plenty of it. 100% recommend staying here.
