The breakfast and dinner buffet was great, huge variety. The surrounding nature was magnificent. The bath in the onsen felt amazing.

Winter is the off season and we got a fantastic last minute deal here in mid January. Comfortable rooms with enough space for a family of 4 including 2 teenagers. The traditional meals were a feast for the senses, though a little challenge for the teens. A minimum western menu at least for breakfast would have been a welcome addition. But all in all, a glorious unexpected stay!

Such a terrific place. The owner is warm, generous and committed to strengthening the local community. The baths are fabulous. The rooms are spacious. Thoroughly recommended.

Great location in the middle of the mountains. There were exceptional views all around and the onsen was quite nice. The room has everything you need and the staff are very friendly.
