We booked room 204, with the big log ceiling rafters. It's a wonderful room with windows that open onto a beautiful rock wall with a forest behind it. The room is very large and private. The yukata selection was excellent and the breakfast was helpful to get the day started without having to figure that meal out. The onsen kit was helpful when going to the various hot springs as one does when in Kinosaki Onsen town. This is a perfect option if you don't want to stay at an expensive ryokan with all of the time constraints, etc.

This was a great place to stay with every comfort and great attention to detail. It was very quiet and I slept very well. There is a general store across the road so it was easy to pick up snacks etc. also only 3 minutes from the main street where there are many cafes and restaurants. Thank you!

Before I even arrived, the owner made sure I knew the entry code so that if he didn't hear the doorbell, I could still enter. But he did hear me and gave me instructions on where all the onsen are located and led me to my room. The room was very spacious and in a pretty traditional style. In the bathroom there were many hygiene products to use, including earplugs, as the house had very thin walls. The kitchen area was equipped with tea and coffee. For 1000 yen I could even rent a Yukata and received help putting it on. It was a truly great experience staying here! The city center and the train station is easily reached by foot and a convenience store is right across the street. I definitely recommend staying here!

Absolutely loved our stay here. The accommodation is super cosy and felt like home! You are able to use all of the facilities such as laundry and bike rental etc for a low price and also able to use the big kitchen. The location is about a 15 minute bike ride from Kinosaki town / 5 minute drive but the location is right next to a beach and some places to hikes and it was lovely to cycle around so it wasn’t a problem for us. Yuke could not do enough for us and welcomed us with a map of Kinosaki and all the recommendations and also gave us lifts when needed.

Beautiful hotel with lovely rooms and excellent staff. Had delicious dinner and breakfast. The private baths are also fantastic. The hotel provides kimonos and yukatas to change into, and has a very soothing reading area.

10 min walk from the station, this is a fabulous ryokan. The staff is really nice and accommodating, and the room is very traditional but still functional. There is a yukata and wooden shoes if you want to try them. The private baths are definitely a must, and the onsen pass provided by the staff is perfect to visit the 7 onsens of the town. You'll get a really copious japanese style breakfast and dinner.
