We overnighted here while exploring Shikoku by car. The hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful given our poor Japanese. The room was large with a nice view over the river. There are several restaurants nearby. The hotel has male and female onsen and a large heated pool. We opted for breakfast which was Japanese style and excellent. Would make a great base to stay for a few days to explore the region, lots to see.

Newly built, modern and spacious house in a traditional Japanese layout. Fully equipped with everything you will ever need during your stay including kitchen utensils. Supermarket is nearby. Lots of space in the living & sleeping rooms and even storage for bikes in the entrance area is possible. Friendly owner who helped us get a bike rental.

A beautiful cosy japanese house in a beautiful valley perfect for a group of friends or a family. Wonderful owners who were super friendly. They clean the bathtub everyday, tell everything about the area of things to do, let you rent the grill or other things, and then they even gave us some free vegetables from a nearby farm.

Before facing a challenging 30 km stage, we treated ourselves to a stay here — and it couldn’t have been better. The staff was really nice and helpful. We had many questions which they answered and they even called the canyoning company for us too help us reserve our canyoning tour. You can also order breakfast/lunch (either bread with baked meat or rice with fish) to take with you for the next day.
