Beautiful house in a peaceful town. The house has a very comfortable and completely private upstairs that is very big. There’s a living room with beautiful tatami and a lovely view. The bedroom is fitted with comfortable western beds, a balcony and a projector for watching TV. There is a private bathroom. There is a lovely walk over the river just a few steps away. It is so wonderful to rent the bicycles for free and cycle around the quiet little town.

Cozy hotel on the way to the Koya san, a place to relax after or before a night trip to the mountain. Oh my! The absolute best hotel we stayed at. The ryokan was absolute. Outside foot bath. Hot stone rest room. Onsen in and out real onsen (people go there more for that). The dinner was a poetry. All music to my ears. Absolute amazing place.

I booked a single room, and it was clean and nicely decorated. The owners are very friendly and speak good English. I had originally said I would arrive at 6-7pm, but was delayed and arrived after 8pm. The owner kindly facilitated this for me but it is a small hotel so it is helpful to be accurate with your arrival time.
