This is a nice little town on the slopes of Etna and is especially convenient for visiting the Volcano. It is also close to the eastern coast of Sicily and its beaches whilst various tourist attractions are nearby. Perfect location to visit Etna, as it's in the middle between the south side and the north side of the mountain. Small town but has all necessary shops, excellent restaurants and a beach (we didn't visit the beach as we were there for Mount Etna). Perfect for both a visit to Etna and taormina. Nino is very friendly. He makes the best Italian breakfast. His wife Carmela cooks very well too. Her dinner was perfect after a heavy hike on the Etna.
