There are so many positives to list. It is a small hotel that occupies part of a converted mansion in the heart of the historic city center. The hotel portion is completely modernized. The breakfast buffet is wonderful, and the staff become your friends.

The service was exceptional. All the staff, from the front desk, to the cleaning staff, to the servers, the gardeners, everyone was just spectacularly lovely. Awo was absolutely lovely with our daughter and with all children on the property. It was a haven of peace and tranquility, and the property has been maintained with exceptionally good taste.

Eleonora the owner was such a pleasant lady - bubbling over with enthusiasm for Florence and extremely knowledgeable about the city. Casa Botticelli is steeped in history with the main dining room having been the study of Robert Browning and his wife Elisabeth Barrett from 1847 onwards. The casa is located about 5 minutes from Ponte Vecchio so is the perfect starting point for sightseeing. Our room no. 7 on the second floor was beautifully appointed with a great bath tub. It was very clean and pleasantly warm. Bed was extremely comfortable with lots of pillows. Lovely welcoming gift of Chianti wine and water. Breakfast was tasty and catered for our needs. Self check-in went smoothly. Giacomo was available in case of need.

From the moment we arrived, we were embraced with the warmth and hospitality that made us feel instantly at home. It was truly an unforgettable experience. The staff was exceptionally helpful and always greeted us with warm smiles. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Lenny, Gemma, Eva, Fabio, and the other wonderful staff members whose names we can't recall. Their hospitality made our stay incredibly special.
