Absolutely 10 stars! Staff at breakfast are so kind the older ladies reminded me of my nanny’s kitchen for a meal they help you mind you so well and serve up the best fresh breakfast you could ask for fruit croissants cornflakes pancakes everything on menu and help yourself, place is maintained so so well very modern room’s impeccable cleanliness rooms serviced each morning new large luxury towels luxury slippers fridge and kettle as standard in the room beds so comfortable really good air con beautiful views ask for a lake facing room for sure!! Plenty of sockets in the room strong powerful shower and beautiful pool (not heated though) so a little chilly hotel is so peaceful had the most amazing sleep each night only literally 200m to town the ferry or the beach up the road the opposite end of town. Staff at front desk are the so helpful we met different girls each day but all so so nice to us and helpful they also run the bar service too, a tall man made me the best Hugo spritz I have tasted here if you see him get him to make you one 😄😄 place deserves 10 stars and needs to be 4 star hotel for sure!! Thanks so much

From the beginning it was exceptional. We arrived early and left our bags at the hotel. They brought them to the room when it was ready. The front desk staff was excellent, offering suggestions for restaurants and transportation. The beds were just the right combination of soft and support. I didn't even need a "first night" adjustment to a different bed. Just got a good nights sleep. Breakfast (eggs) were cooked to order and they served the largest croissants I've ever seen. Location was in the heart of the old section close to everything and a 15 minute walk from the train station. Huge selection of good restaurants nearby. There is an excellent restaurant across the road called Il Gabbiano and a sushi restaurant (all you can eat) nearby.

The personal welcome and friendly staff are what makes this hotel. It is out of town but the walk by the lake to get there is lovely, and there are restaurants, supermarket, small shops nearby. I hired a bike one day which was very good value using the hotel booking discount.

    Peschiera was beautiful, the train was 3.50 euros return...

    Peschiera was beautiful, the train was 3.50 euros return from Bella Italia hotel into Peschiera and a time table is provided. The boat trips and ferry trips are very easy to access to visit other towns. We used the bus twice which always ran about half an hour late but still turned up. The staff on reception were also very helpful and organised a taxi for us. Also the staff in the La Chandra were lovely and the food was delicious.

    I have the impression that the town has lost so many of its...

    I have the impression that the town has lost so many of its services - supermarkets, fruit and veg shops, delis - and the permanent citizens of Peschiera have put their efforts into restaurants, bars and shops. It is a very pretty town but I feel it is not a real town but a tourist town. In high season the ferries are frequent to visit towns around the lake. The bus service in the area functions but is crowded due to the huge number of tourists.

    Very easy to get around & family friendly.

    Very easy to get around & family friendly. Loved walking around the lake in early morning. We went in June, it was hot and there were lots of tourists. I would recommend going off season if you're looking for something a bit more intimate and cooler weather. Trampoline near lake was fun for all, rented a boat and drove around the lake, took the ferry to Sirmione for a spa treatment and dinner, went on a 1/2 day bike tour a along the river, which all of us throughly enjoyed and will remember (2 in early 70s, a 50 year old and 15 year old).

    Towns keeps the vibe of Garda lake very well, a lot of restaurants and lovely architecture. It is easy to get around and as all places has easy ferry connection to other locations. Big plus for proximity of gardaland and viva safari park - I highly recommend this one, best value for the money so far but book at least half a day and bring good shoes as it is quite a hike.

    Peschiera is a lively resort with everything you need, and can be reached by train from Verona very quickly and easily. Numerous excellent bars, cafes and restaurants. You can hire boats for fishing or just sightseeing or take boat tours to other Lake Garda towns. We used the frequent ferry services to visit other Lake Garda resorts which were reasonably priced, comfortable and reliable. If you've got children, Gardaland is easy to reach.

    The house is great! - spacious, bright and clean. Barbara and Gaetano have equipped it with everything you could possibly need and stocked it with drinks, cooking condiments, coffee capsules, washing detergent etc. They were super welcoming, kind and helpful. It’s a short walk down to the lake where you can follow a beautiful path all the way along the lakeside to the pretty town of Peschiera. We fitted in a most enjoyable wine tasting experience in a vineyard that was very close by.

    Ziba is a beautiful, small, well-run hotel. Every detail is carefully considered, from the beautifully crafted furniture to the multiple lighting options in the room. The Spa area was one of the best I have seen in a hotel. Breakfast was excellent. Close-by, there is a walkway down to the lake and from there a pleasurable 30-minute walk takes you into Peschiera del Garda.

    The location of the hotel could not be better! Our room was fabulous and the breakfast was really good. Our room allowed us to enjoy our breakfast at the upper terrace and that was a memorable experience. The hotel staff is very friendly.
