Such a beautiful town!
Such a beautiful town! I felt like I had a much better spot than the other little towns nearby just because of the ease of access to the Matterhorn hiking area. I just walked out my door and it was right there, no driving necessary. Wonderful skiing holiday.
Wonderful skiing holiday. If you haven’t a car then there is a timetable for shuttle buses to take you you to the lifts and the town. They are a public service so have a set route and designated stops. There is Only one supermarket ( in the town). Whilst ample for us it has limited supplies and shuts between 12.30 and 15.30, however fine for us on a limited budget. We ate out on 3 occasions and would say costs are cheaper than the Uk do not overly expensive.Guest review byannUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Cervinia is a very good quality, large, high and thus snow...
Cervinia is a very good quality, large, high and thus snow assured ski resort. There is not much challenge for advanced skiers as the resort tream piste bash the runs every night leaving no moguls (bumps). Being so large their is still plenty of ski are so advanced skiers can work on their skills and are kept interested. Far better value than the Swiss side. The resort is great.

The rooms are a good size and are not too noisy. The food was lovely - great continental breakfast with eggs, ham and cheese and a daily tea time which is perfect after a day of skiing. Dinner was fantastic and the cosy bar is perfect. Very short walk to the slopes - the main chairlift is a 2 minute walk just at the back of the hotel.
