This hotel is a gem. Located right by the promenade in Ortigia and with two terraces and most rooms facing the water, Henry’s House is the perfect base from which to explore Ortigia and Siracusa. Compact in size, beautifully filed with local and run by the friendliest and most efficient staff, this is a place from which you won’t want to leave. The buffet breakfast was a cornucopia of excellent local fruit and fare, the cocktails were divine and every room comes with a fully included minibar. How often do you find all that under one roof?

An exceptional hotel with an exceptional team working there. Special recognition to Denise who went above and beyond to take care of us. This was our fourth time we have stayed at the Agila and we look forward to returning. Breakfast is the best in Italy - not just in Sicily.

    Friendly staff, quiet location, cosy rooms and spacious external bathroom located next to our room. Lovely rustic vibe. Use of a fridge in a communal kitchen area was convenient. Located a quick drive away from Syracuse (10-15 mins) and just 2-3 mins drive from the town of Belvedere.
