Perfect location. Reasonable price. Very polite and helpful staff, flexible in response to traveller's needs. Very good included breakfast. Rooms contain both (!) desk for working and chair for relaxed sitting. Facilities for keeping luggage. Automatic inclusion into the loyality program for their network. 10/10 in all marks. If you really need to visit Kolkata (which I'd advice against) and you'd like to stay in a convenient central location at a reasonable price, Hotel Cecil should be your number one choice. Go for the King's Suite (the other rooms are rather small) and enjoy. The staff are really helpful and super nice, which I appreciated. There's a chance of a good night's sleep too because the beds are really comfy.

Very clean hotel, helpful and polite staff. They upgrade me with apartment - very spacious and with all amenities. Location is excellent, close to Victoria memorial and some museum. I had delicious dinner at the restaurant of the hotel.

Nothing much to say besides that we had a splendid time at this place. The food was good, the service wonderful, and the place amazing. The spa and steam sauna is also worth a try. Bimal the concierge was also very helpful and gentle. We will certainly come back!
