We have had the most wonderful time in Sumbawa at Juliens place. Swell check from the balcony and great food from the restaurant. The rooms are big and cool even though they dont have AC. The big windows make it very bright. Cleaned every day and very nice staff. We ended up staying three weeks, surfing every day at Dirty Hippies and Northern Right.

We had the best time at Kertasari lodge. Loti and the team are amazing! The staff are so attentive and friendly. The lodge is beautiful and our bungalow was so perfect, food was delicious, the views are out of this world. Can’t recommend this place enough !

Set in a stunning beachfront location on Pantai Moro, the dining room, lounge, pool, and beach beds all have an ocean view. The bungalows are well appointed with cozy beds, hot fresh water showers, and a covered lanai. The food was very tasty. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Although I was traveling on my own, I felt very welcome.

Mr Sollo Sollo aka Ade is the best host anyone could have! He showed us around, took us to his friend that has a coconut tree field and we drank the most delicious coconuts ever, gave us tips about things to do around his hometown and island and even invited us to a family celebration that included nice chats and tasty delicacies! The homestay itself is nice and cozy! It's a whole house and feels more like a hut! We spent lots of time on the "balcony" and the hammocks were super comfortable! The kitchen and the bathroom are super basic but adequate! There is a mosque quite close so getting a pair of earplugs is a must for an uninterrupted night's sleep. We stayed the for 4 weeks in total. The stay was great. The owner Tony is a super nice and helpful guy. If we needed something he was there immediately and helped us out. The room has enough space for two people, baggage and surfboards. It got a modern fridge and a water dispenser. Also cutlery and plates. It got a beautiful veranda directly in front of the beach. Also the house has a small front yard for parking your bike. It also got an outside water valve to clean your stuff/yourself after surfing. The location is good! It takes 3 to 5 min to the next local restaurants. And 1 min to a big resort. The accommodation is in between the two surf bays. Takes 10-15 min to go to dirty hippies/northern rights and 10-15 min to Limestones/Mangroves. We had a great time and can totally recommend.

fantastic location in front of the ocean, the owner is super friendly and available for any eventuality, the accommodation is simple but nothing is missing like tea, coffee and water for breakfast.... clean and fragrant sheets and towels. we will definitely return.

The most wonderful place to stay if you want a relaxing surf holiday. Beautiful view and location, just a short walk from the beach and into the village but so nice and quiet and peaceful. Beautiful view as well. Baba and his staff made sure we had a lovely stay and we’ll definitely come back here!
