A true piece of paradise! We had no idea how much we’d love it here—if we had, we would have booked a longer stay. The location is the best on the island, almost like a hidden gem, and the house itself feels so luxurious and special. Thomas was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. Next time, we’re definitely staying longer!

Though it's not super-modern inside, I found the atmosphere of the place very congenial. This was added to by the kindliness of the lady that I dealt with, Ana, who went out of her way to be helpful. And the cat. There is a small swimming spot just a few metres away.

This place is extraordinary! The hospitality, the view, the private beach and the small town itself. I have been travelling Croatia for 35 years, and this is one of the places where I will definitely return to. I could stay here for weeks and just relax and eat at the family restaurant. We arrived in the evening and Anna was waiting for us, we had had a long day and were very tired ( my mother is 82) Anna made us feel very welcome and helped us with our cases, gave us cold drinks etc which were very appreciated! In the morning I took a walk to the small shop that had basics, it took about 8 minutes and Anna and her husband Ivan kindly gave me a lift back to the apartment! During the course of our stay they couldn’t have been kinder, home made cake, marmalade, figs from garden even a lift to the beach and sorted our early morning journey back to the ferry for us! The apartment itself was spacious with a lovely terrace, kitchen well equipped ( we cooked every eve as restaurant a bit too far for my mum in the heat and very expensive). A restaurant and lovely sandy beach were about 10-15 walk away, probably closer if you’re younger! All in all we had a fabulous relaxing time which is the whole reason we chose to visit there, the apartment was very comfortable, beach not crowded, sea calm and warm but most of all we couldn’t have asked for nicer hosts, thank you Ivan and Anna you made our holiday!

We were lucky to chose one of the best locations on the island. The apartment is just on the beach and it has everything one would need. The view from the balcony is wonderful. I would love to return.

    Okuklje is small serene town. It is very peaceful.

    Okuklje is small serene town. It is very peaceful. It have three restaurants, one mini market and one small local products shop. Prices in mini market are slightly higher then in regular stores on main road in Mljet. You can swim anywhere in this little place but I would recommend "natural beach" - it is situated on eastern side of the bay. This bay is perfect for SUP board and snorkeling. I would highly recommend a walk (hike) to Prožurska Luka. It last for about half an hour/forty minutes in one way but it it is quite lovely. This place have mini open-library on bus station. You can borrow books or donate new ones. This place is very peaceful so it is perfect place to have relaxing vacation.

    Absolutely perfection in every way .

    Absolutely perfection in every way . Vera the host was just wonderful absolutely everything had been thought of . Perfect position in the bay . A holiday to remember forever. 4 restaurants to eat in especially liked Lampalo a lively couple and delicious food . Wound recommend a car as taxis very expensive. You would need to be very fit to cycle the island
