The place is suitable if you are visiting Greece on budget. It is very crowded and it s a nightmare to find a parking spot. We visited few traditional tavernas( Ouzeri Las Pas,Villa Ella ( has live music) and had very tasty greek dishes :tzatziki , Greek salad, fried zuchini, fried white bait, aubergine salad, grilled sardines, stuffed peppers, chicken souvlaki. I found Pedkochori too busy.
I found Pedkochori too busy. Had visited years ago and found that some of the charm is gone because of over tourism. We have family in Pefkochori and will continue us to visit, but found ourselves staying at the hotel and not venturing into town because of the congestion.Guest review bySophiaCanada - 10.0

The village small and packed with people on the weekend. There are decent beaches in town, but you need to get there early to catch a good spot. For those of us born in western Turkey, the culture, habits, and warmth of the people here feel very familiar. That’s probably why we feel such a natural connection with our Greek neighbors. Katerina is a superb person and we had amazing stay with her. She was so helpful and kind. The greatest thing is a private parking so you dont have to think about safty of your car. Beach is near, a lot of supermarkets and restaurants. Room was clean. New sheet and towels changed daily. It is positioned so that you have your own peace and quiet. The size of the rooms is just right and are cleaned daily (we let them in twice for 7 nights - it's just not needed more). Our balcony was looking towards the street, which can be a bit noisy, but we had palm trees as a view, so privacy and when you close the door it's absolutely silent.
