The hotel was impressively clean, and my seaview room offered breathtaking scenery that made work feel like a vacation. The food was delicious, especially the seafood. What made this trip stand out, though, was the peaceful ambiance and the incredibly friendly and professional staff. Akron Seascape Resort Hotel is a top choice. Sea View apartments are in a superb setting,surrounded by a small garden and olive trees with that promised sea view down the valley..The 2 bedroom apartments (number 5 & 6 )are located downstairs,on ground level making them very safe for young children and families.Private entrance from a courtyard,small kitchen with fridge/freezer,stove top and oven,kettle,toaster and sandwich maker.The 2 bedrooms ( one with a double bed,the other with two single beds ) open out to a spacious balcony with a table,4 chairs and clothes airer.There is a free communal washing machine in the courtyard so very handy for towels and togs when you come back from the beach. or on site pool.You can see the pool and gardens from the apartment and it is a quiet and relaxing setting.We brought a citronella candle with us to repel the mozzies and it was lovely to sit out in the balcony at night just listening to the crickets.There are mosquitoes nets on all the windows and doors so that was a great help.Stavros,the owner is a great guy,very helpful and accommodating,he booked us our taxi back to the airport and invited us to one of his legendary barbeques in the garden to meet the other guests.Overall,a super stay in a lovely clean apartment with air con,spacious balcony,good kitchen facilities,safe and relaxing setting.There is a supermarket to the right on leaving the apartment,plus a small bakery for those morning croissants ,coffee and orange cake.Cactus bar is across the road,serving food and drinks and a small takeaway for their famous gyros.La Grotto is minutes away and a lovely small beach behind the Akrotiri Hotel is great for swimming and relaxing.Highly recommend.....

Really peaceful, great place to relax. Sea view and a short walk down to the beach or up the hill for a hike to a nearby village. We loved sitting on the balcony. George, the host, was incredibly helpful with advice about Corfú. Would definitely stay again.

    Beautiful area, car is a must but roads are not for the faint hearted! Many little beaches to visit, also fantastic view from highest point.we liked Afionas a lot, quite a hike to viewpoint and even more so to beaches below. If you like beautiful sunsets then this area is for you!
