We had a very pleasant stay in Kamari, thanks to this place: the room was very clean, spacious and modern and we had everything we needed. The location is great as well. We were warmly welcomed when we arrived and had very good service all week; we could always contact Claudia with any questions and we were helped quickly. They also made sure that we always had transportation to other places. We highly recommend a stay here & we would come again!

The staff was amazing: Maria and Betty were so helpful and super nice. The breakfast was delicious with a lot of variety. It's located near the beach. And there was also a stove and utensils to cook in the bedroom. We really recommend 😁

We had a wonderful stay at Amara Suites, will definitely come back 😃 Big clean rooms, all amenities. Lovely varied breakfast served every day. Also had lunch there, best lunches we had, home cooked food. The staff are incredibly helpful with whatever you need. Perfect location, a bit on the side but still very central.

The accommodation was fantastic. The whole La Bellezza property has only a few rooms, which makes it feel very private. Upon arrival, we received a complimentary room upgrade. Breakfast could be ordered to the room every morning at a specific time, which was very convenient. The beach is just a short walk away, about 5 minutes. Although the airport is very close (you can see planes flying low over the rooms when you are outside), once inside, you don’t hear anything at all. So there’s no need to worry about the proximity to the airport. The staff were very friendly, and the whole place had a warm, family-like atmosphere.

    Kamari is great to visit.

    Kamari is great to visit. Nothing is too far, you can get the local buses to Fira, or the airport. I went on a full day tour and visited most places such as pyrgos, tharisia island, hot springs, volcano, Oia for sunset. All very beautiful. You have to trek the scenic view from Oia to Fira- one of the best walks in the world! Every place I ate was delicious. Never had a disappointing meal.

    Lots of lovely tavernas and bars.

    Lots of lovely tavernas and bars. The locals are really friendly. Take beach shoes as the pebbles can be painful under foot. Be careful to find out where the rocks in the sea are slippery. The beach closer towards the rock (The Hook Bar end) has a safer entrance to the sea. Dimitris Greek night is great fun, there is an open air cinema close by, too! Great reviews. There are too many places to recommend for food, drink, sports, music, karaoke. I don't think there are any places I wouldn't recommend.

    We loved our accommodation at thousand stars and highly recommend it. Took a private highlight tour of the island which was amazing. Negatives on Kamari include swimming at the beach which was very hazardous when entering and leaving the water due to the lava levels underfoot. Also, being constantly hassled by the same people to take a massage.

    It's not a sandy beach, but it's very beautiful.

    It's not a sandy beach, but it's very beautiful. You should have that special shoes to walk on the beach because of the little rocks. We used public transportation and it's ok. The price is fair and they have buses to all the main places of the island. We had breakfast at a small coffee shop near the hotel and it was amazing both the food and the staff. There's a street with good restaurants and many souvenir stores near the beach.

    Kamari is a fantastic destination – in our opinion, the best...

    Kamari is a fantastic destination – in our opinion, the best place to stay on Santorini. It is lively but still peaceful, with crystal-clear water and beaches covered with black pebbles. The main promenade along the sea is full of shops and restaurants. Prices are similar to other Greek islands. It is just a 10-minute drive from the airport, and there are regular buses to Fira. Taxis are more expensivem, a one-way ride to Perissa, Fira, or Oia costs €40, we ordered taxis via the Uber application. You can also take a boat from Kamari to Perissa for €8 per person – we definitely recommend trying that experience. Overall, Kamari is a much better place to stay than Perissa. The whole resort is right by the sea and has better beaches. Oia is a beautiful place, but extremely crowded, the beaches are difficult to access from the hill and will probably be expensive, we recommend just taking a trip there.

    Kamari is probably one of the only area to have beach access. BUT you need special shoes otherwise it will be a nightmare. The black sand is also deadly hot so shoes are a must. Some beach clubs like Woodoo are super nice.

    The staff we met in the hotel was very friendly. When we arrive, they welcomed us and gave all the necessary information about Santorini. And their gift package was so nice. The hotel is in Kamari which is approximately 20 minutes to centre of Santorini (Fira). So, you can enjoy a long beach Kamari which is only 5 minutes away from Blue Dream. The room has all the things you need.

    We had a short trip to Santorini and chose Finikas for one night to enjoy the Kamari area. Everything was really nice. The location (just a street up from the beach) and the nice balcony. It was nicely clean and Mr George was really polite to us. We will definitely choose it again!
