A pleasant city, everyone we met was friendly and helpful, small enough to be able to walk to all the amenities we needed. Loved the promenade (including the dance festival that was happening while we were there). Found an excellent bar (Kerouac) just round the corner, and minimarket opposite. He gave us great tips for Alexandroupolis. Heating is by air conditioning as with many new buildings.
