There is significant historical and cultural interest in Wigan, especially industrial architecture and the wonderful local museum and George Orwell library. The people are very friendly, talk to them! The town has suffered enormously from economic transition and the effects are still playing out. It's a small sleepy town.
It's a small sleepy town. Although it has everything you need. But not much Indian restaurants and one caution the town get completely dead by 9 PM in summers and by 5 PM in winters u won't get anything after that it's not safe to travel alone at night.. otherwise it all greatGuest review byPrithvirajIndia

The large Double bed was very comfortable, Nice bathroom with great shower. It was very cold outside, but the room's radiator heated the room up fine.
