Really beautiful apartment, cosy & comfortable. We usually go out to eat most evenings when on holiday but ended up eating in every night to enjoy the surroundings & well equipped kitchen. Bed & pillows very comfortable. Sofa was excellent too. Spotlessly clean. Great hosts who kept in touch with clear instructions. Lovely to see the steam engine passing by from the bedroom window (not until late morning).

We were visiting family amd found it to be a charming town with many independent shops. Lots of places to eat and drink. Our visit was at the beginning of September so probably not as busy as during the summer months and it is a distance to the main lakes. Probably ideal for hikers and those looking for less commercial areas. Parking was an issue even though there are a lot of car parks.

This town is a little gem on the edge of the Lake District national park. It’s an excellent base from which to explore the southern and western lakes, an area, nestled on Morecambe Bay, that is steeped in a fabulous industrial history and blessed with spectacular scenery. Oft overlooked in favour of the busier tourist areas, a visit to Ulverston is highly recommended.

Location was perfect, a superb base for a stay in Ulverston. Moss Tarn itself is a lovely building and great place to stay. The living room was very large and had very good entertainment facilities (music/TV etc) and the kitchen was surprisingly well stocked with food and drink. Furnishings were of very high quality in all rooms. Superb shower room. We went for a historic cycling event, Moss Tarn is very close to town centre and has great storage facility for bikes.

Great location in southern area of the Lake District. Easy to find and quite rural but shops and facilities nearby. The place is amazing, very spacious with 2 double rooms, one with en suite shower room a third bedroom with 2 single beds. Perfect for the 4 of us but could sleep up to 6. The place was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Reelly nice garden area when weather is good. Quiet area too. Playing field and play ground opposite as well as fields.

This is the 4th time we’ve stayed at Low Fell and it won’t be the last. It’s exactly what you would hope from a Lake District B&B. Friendly hosts offering tea & biscuits in the garden after settling in, a cozy, quiet room with a really comfortable bed, and a delicious breakfast in the morning. While the accommodation feels very ‘traditional’, the bathrooms and very modern with ‘boutique’ feel.

The Hosts were absolutely lovely. It was perfectly located in the Lake District where you were a short car journey away from most points of interest. The property itself was situated in a beautiful location with stunning views, it was very clean, modern and well looked after. We would definitely recommend here as a place to stay for a trip to the lakes.

It was the perfect place to stay and experience the real magic of Lake District. Walking into the house, we were really impressed with the comfy English grandmother home vibes. The breakfast was spectacular - the lady was wonderfully considerate and offered a wide variety of cooked options every morning.
