It’s always great to visit Tenby with its beautiful beaches...
It’s always great to visit Tenby with its beautiful beaches and many eateries. The Dennis cafe is always a favourite of mine and a crab sandwich from the little cabin in the harbour. I always follow the coastal path from north beach to Saundersfoot with stunning views of Tenby harbour and the beaches in between the two towns. I rewarded myself with a Guinness and a fishy lunch at the Royal Oak in Saundersfoot and must admit to have taken the bus back to Tenby. It’s a short and pleaser journey for £2 only….. the climbs and descends on the coastal path are a real good workout but can be challenging for some people.Guest review byMartienUnited Kingdom - 10.0

The town of Tenby was lovely being located near the beach...
The town of Tenby was lovely being located near the beach with a castle ruin and the old town wall giving a number of options for a lovely days out. It is also located nicely giving a number of options for day trips to nearby places of interest, alternative beaches, or water activity like surfing or walks along the coast. While Wales can't do anything about the weather that is the only thing which made our stay a little challenging. You need to have a list of things you are able to do on a dry day or a wet day and be prepared to alter plans depending on the weather. It did not ruin our stay you just need to be flexible and dress for all weather options! I would highly recommend visiting Pembroke Castle which is only about 30min drive from Tenby. Included in the price to enter is a tour guide who takes you through the castle and its history. This was very entertaining and informative.Guest review byLindaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Tenby is a fabulous holiday resort, we have been going there...
Tenby is a fabulous holiday resort, we have been going there since childhood and have lots of memories there. Theres lots to do in the town and surrounding areas. Prices in the shops are a tourist trap though so look around. Fabulous views from all around. Everyone loves Tenby from locals to friends from afar.Guest review byTracey - 10.0

Other seaside towns could learn a lot from Tenby. Heritage is very important and keeping the older multi coloured properties in such superb order pays visual dividends. It is both quaint and modern , with a bustling centre full of places to eat and go. The Italians are both great , The Cove is bright modern but good for socialising and eating.Tenby fish and chips are superb. We didn't have time to sample all the inviting hostelries and cafes unfortunately.So much choice in the sweet and cake shops! We thoroughly support the timed pedestrianisation of the town centre - great way to give people room to move but still give vital vehicle access. A beautiful town to explore - don't miss the Castle beach! Or the Harbour Brewery - fascinating when open for viewing. The town felt safe and was for the most part clean and tidy. Parking is an issue- be careful when using the expensive central car park - it's privately owned and enforced rigidly. The multi storey is both ugly and uninviting with tight bays, but at least it's not far from the town. The one ways can be confusing and often you have to go backwards to get to where you want to go ( if that makes sense!) Beautifully manicured gardens and wonderful views over Tenby Harbour. This hotel is our new favourite! Everything is run extremely well and all areas are kept to a very high standard.
