Fantastic property, quiet, great Bar and conversations, fantastic reading Room and outdoor Patio , all with manicured gardens and brilliant views. some of the trees on the property were at least 400-500 years old. A lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. Clean comfortable and surprisingly modern bedrooms with fabulous en suite bath and rainfall shower. Lovely grounds (60 acres) that could be explored. Exceptional value for money. A few miles from Tarbert, but a long way from anywhere else! Superb setting, the team were wonderful and enjoyed walking around the island, the one thing that stands out staying in a castle in February in Scotland was that it was very warm. I felt right at home here and wish I could have stayed...
I felt right at home here and wish I could have stayed another couple of nights. We stayed two. I could sit in the drawing room and read for a whole day then. I loved exploring the grounds, even in a light drizzle, the scenery was spectacular. Rooms were fairly plain but didn't spend any time in them anyway. Fantastic spot.Guest review byMegAustralia - 8.0

We had dinner and breakfast in the hotel. The meals and the dining room were very good. Our room was very comfortable and we were given an upgrade, which was nice.
