Access from the entrance to the room is barrier-free. There were comfortable beds. The rooms were small but very clean. There was a small kitchen next door and tea and other refreshments were available, which was nice.

It was so clean, beautiful room with tea/coffee facilities. Everything you need for a short stay. The hosts have been easy to communicate with and have been helpful in returning some items we accidentally left behind.

Very welcoming and friendly hosts, who couldn't do enough for you. The place was very well fitted out to a high standard. They had thought of everything, including providing a wide range of hot drinks for you to make with the facilities provided, which included a Nespresso machine. The decor, carpets and curtains looked brand new and were lovely. The bathroom was perfect and there were toiletries provided. The breakfast was very generous and delicious, and included plenty of fresh fruit. The bed was very comfortable and the bed linen was good.

It was clean and very comfortable, facilities were very good, staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, food was excellent and reasonably priced. Travelling on my own with my dog can be difficult but the pub and staff made it easy, I would highly recommended it.

    The accommodation is actually in Newark-upon-Trent.

    The accommodation is actually in Newark-upon-Trent. A short walk from the centre. There was a nice riverside walk just a minute away as well as shops, supermarket and the train station close by. Newark itself is a pretty little town with lots of hustle bustle and good options for food and drink. It’s also an easy car or train journey to Nottingham, Lincoln and Sherwood Forest.
