    The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The food was wonderful. The room was larger than I thought it would be with an additional bed, no additional fee though :) There was everything I could have needed in the room - iron and ironing board, heater, fan, hair drier, tea, coffee and biscuits.

    Close M11 and Stansted.

    Close M11 and Stansted. A small village with some local shops. Good location to explore Essex and South Suffolk, lots of things to see nearby. The roads are narrow and there are lots of small villages with speed limits. A popular area for cyclists and bikers.

    The staff were very welcoming and pleasant.

    The staff were very welcoming and pleasant. The food was exceptional, would use them again but unfortunately no more events expected in their location. Only negative was the man who helped serve breakfast, he was not dressed appropriately - it looked like pyjamas but likely shorts & T-shirt

    Thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay at The Cock Inn. The bedrooms are in a separate building attached to the pub and ours was quiet, very clean and facilities very good. Enjoyed the breakfast and evening meal the night before. Hosts were very welcoming. Would happily stay there again if in the vicinity. Also there is a recently built junction to the nearby M11 which makes getting to and from Sheering much easier if coming from the north or south.

    We had a lovely one night stay at The Cock Inn Hotel and we hope to come back again . The location is easy access to M11. It is an alternative place to stay than inner London areas that would suit us as it is on our route to home. Our room was spacious, which we really liked. The hotel staff were friendly. We had English breakfast, which was nicely cooked - non greasy. Overall, it was good value for money.

    There is nothing not to like about The Cock Inn Hotel. Welcoming, clean and comfortable room, great choice of meals on the menu, lovely atmosphere, and a great breakfast to start the day!! Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.
