    Enjoyable time can be had. Lots of activities Victorian buildings, cafes and restaurants for all tastes and wallets. Caution. There is an underground car park near the Spa Bridge. Sometimes the sign isn't always clear that it closes and locked up at 9 pm

    I loved the scenery, the Tramway, multiple different styles of places to eat, the friendliness of the people. So many historic places to visit as well as nature areas. It is not just a place of amusements and slot machines! It is multicultural and a great pleasure to visit xxxxxxx

    Few eating places close at hand to venue but this is a good place for walking. Many hills which is not so good for those with limited mobility. Road system well signposted with fairly patient drivers (makes a change).

    Excellent modern appointments, access by code, lift to upper floors. Can be very warm on hotter days. Comfortable, secure, clean and good facilities. Excellent communication. Access details on the morning of arrival. Parking could be an issue but various car parks available nearby for a fee. Short stroll from the road to the apartments so may hinder those with mobility issues and luggage to bring. Would certainly consider again.

    We've come to Scarborough for a few days in September for 7/...

    We've come to Scarborough for a few days in September for 7/8 years now. The weather can be mixed, but it can be mixed in high summer. Most of the attractions are within easy walking distance, and the resort offers a good mix of restaurants. We both have dietry requirements and find plenty of places to eat, from a selection of fish and chip restaurants to the Spa cafe bar. Apart from the open air theatre, there are a choice of theatres, cinema and the spa itself. Something to suit everyone.

    Fresh fish and quirky restaurant on the pier was excellent.Italian restaurant great.Great walks especially the on from the hotel on South Bay all the way round to North Bay and Peasholme Park and back through a nice town Centre.

    The accommodation was very well located for all amenities, but especially Peasholm Park and Scarborough open air theatre. There were plenty of cafes and restaurants, and the best takeaway fish and chip shop was just over the road. The hotel is very well appointed, all the rooms are beautifully decorated. Breakfast was very good value and of a very high standard. We will definitely be returning

    The hotel has been decorated superbly well, me and wife love the Royal Hotel Scarborough it's our special place. A massive shout out to Helen, and the.team.for the upgrade we appreciate it. Also the bed in rhe Laughton Suite is out of this world.
