We absolutely loved our time in Sandbank, a delightful coastal village just a stone’s throw from Dunoon. The atmosphere is wonderfully laid-back—perfect for families and dog-walkers alike—with stunning views across the Firth of Clyde and an air of peaceful seclusion without feeling isolated. The local community is friendly and welcoming, and there's an abundance of beautiful walking routes, from gentle shoreline paths to woodland trails. We enjoyed relaxing by the water, spotting boats drifting by, and soaking in some gorgeous sunsets after busy days of exploring.
