Richmond is a wonderful town, with plenty of entertainment such as theatres and cinema, especially Richmond Theatre on Richmond Green. There are plenty of wonderful walking routes and parks, Richmond Royal Park is beautiful. Loads of fantastic Pubs, bars, restaurants and cafes. Richmond is a delightful little town on the Thames.
Richmond is a delightful little town on the Thames. There is easy access to the river and it's an ideal walking artery. The ancient bridge there means you have easy access to both sides of the river. It's a good base for London and surrounding areas. The public transport by train and bus is extensive. There are two theatres. The Orange Tree is remarkable with proper plays, but it is quickly booked up. There is an Art Deco cinema. It has plenty of restaurants and cafes. Some good ones are near the cinema, going up to Peterham. Richmond is just gorgeous!
Richmond is just gorgeous! The riverside is beautiful, and the Hollyhock Cafe was a delightful treat. The artisan market was also lovely, lots of shops on the high street and the cheese shop (Teddington Cheese) is fabulous. Lovely village feel with a great variety of upmarket shops although mostly chain, there are some independents. Great restaurants along the river and a nice walk. The Green is also pleasant - spoilt for choice on pubs and restaurants in the area to choose from. Easy to get to via tube or train. The double room for 4 adults was spacious and it came with yummy coffee and there is free water. The toiletries smells nice! The pool is warm and very clean and doesnt have a strong chlorine smell. The amenities were complete. I fell in love with the place and its surrounding the Teddington Lock with the pub Angler with such beautiful place.
